To celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Faculty of Science held a small research exhibition. The aim was to learn about the research being done by the women in our faculty.
Speaking at the event were Arwa Kharobi (Anthropology), Barbora Jankovičová (Experimental Biology), Lenka Přibylová (Mathematics and Statistics), Eliška Hrežová (RECETOX) and Veronika Šandová (CEITEC). Each of the speakers provided a brief overview of their work. It was great to see a wide variety of fields represented, as well as highlight the interdisciplinary nature of some of the research.
We also had some shorter talks from contributing speakers, who had the task of summarising their research in five minutes. It was a joy to have all career levels represented, from undergraduates to heads of department.

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, 200 students aged 9-18 visited the University Campus in Bohunice as part of the MjUNI Children's University program. Lecturers from the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Sports Studies prepared a rich interactive program.
